Course 1: Statistical methods

The objective of this course is to provide participants with probability theory concepts and techniques and with statistics that are widely used in the actuarial and financial industry.

Course 1: Statistical methods

The topics covered are Markov chains, survival analysis, time series analysis, nonparametric statistics, stochastic dependence, and extreme value theory.
